As a nonprofit organization, DUC supports the Uyghur diaspora in preserving their Uyghur heritage. Through its Uyghur Language School, DUC fosters a love for the Uyghur language and culture in the next generation while providing opportunities for adults to connect and share resources. Over the past two years, the school has become a cornerstone of the community, helping children embrace their Uyghur identity and equipping parents with tools to maintain their heritage.

Future Plans

Looking ahead, DUC plans to host seasonal lectures for youth and adults, inviting influential
speakers from various backgrounds, including scientists, artists, and entrepreneurs. These events
will provide a platform for Uyghur youth and parents to explore their dual identity as Uyghur
Americans, fostering a deeper understanding of how to navigate their future while embracing
both Uyghur and American values.
